The post 3 Ways to Style a Black Jumpsuit appeared first on Kristen Fitzpatrick Realtor.
]]>A year or two ago jumpsuits started coming back into style and I will admit, I was super hesitant about it. I didn’t think I had the right body type to wear a jumpsuit (I’m just shy of 5’4″ and have no hips, even after child birth) but that was so false!
I recently found this adorable black jumpsuit on Amazon and today I’m going to share 3 ways to style it.

This look has been my ultimate go-to look for styling this black jumpsuit. The material is so comfy and naturally casual that you can wear it out with your favorite pair of Steve Maddens’ and a cute jean jacket while running errands or chasing your toddler around the back yard!
Staying at home during quarantine has never been more comfortable than in this black jumpsuit. I’ve worn it while lounging around the house and enjoying my morning cup of coffee in my favorite pair of moccasins.
Also, I recently purchased a pair of blue light blocking glasses and am loving them so far! The intention of these glasses is to prevent your eyes from getting strained and over worked from the blue light of your computer or phone screen. I decided to give them a try since staying at home has had me using my devices more than usual. These ones were only $20 and are a cute leopard print (also an Amazon find)!
Date night’s probably look a little different right now since we can’t go anywhere but that doesn’t mean you can’t look cute at home. Pair this black jumpsuit with a pair of nude wedges and a cute hat and bam! You’re ready for dinner al fresco in the backyard. The other great thing about this outfit is that it’s loose fitting with a drawstring pull around the waist (meaning it’s perfect for indulging in your favorite meal or drink!).
I’ve linked most details to these outfits, some of the accessories/ shoes I am wearing are no longer available but I will update this post should they come back in stock.

]]>Last year when Sloane was born, she received the most beautiful baby girl outfits from my uncle from Pink Chicken New York. Since she was born a month early, Sloane was pretty small last Summer and I knew it would take awhile before she would be able to fit (read more about her from last summer in my four month, five month and six month updates).
I was so excited for this summer because she is finally big enough to wear them this year! Sharing two of the outfits below.

We received two onesies and a few dresses from Pink Chicken. The two outfits we brought on vacation with us were the onesies. These were size 12/18 months and fit Sloane perfectly with a little room to spare!
I love the vintage-inspired designs and the patterns of both onesies. The white one is so delicate and soft, it looked beautiful against Sloane’s skin. I was able to machine-wash it and laid flat to dry on a towel rack with no issues or tears of fabric. To add to the boho/vintage look, I paired her outfit with these adorable Birkenstock-like, close-strap sandals.
The second onesie she wore was this adorable bohemian patterned one called the Johanna (unfortunately these two styles are from last season – it took awhile before she was big enough to wear them!). I absolutely LOVE this onesie. The colors made her blue eyes stand out and the fabric is very breathable. For sandals, I paired it with these pretty gold strappy sandals (in case anyone was wondering about MY shoes, they are extremely comfy and currently on sale for under $80 in the white color here. I highly recommend them!).
These two outfits were purchased from their boutique in the Hamptons, however they offer many cute styles online! Pink Chicken has clothing for baby, girls, boys and women (plus, mommy and me outfits!).
I will definitely be doing a little online shopping at Pink Chicken for Sloane (and maybe me too) very soon!

]]>If you have an infant, then you know how quickly they grow out of their clothes in year one! I feel like every time I buy something new, Sloane has already grown out of it and before I know it, I am putting it into storage or donating it. This is why I like to bargain shop as much as possible, without sacrificing quality.
Carter’s makes it SO easy to do that (and no, this is not a sponsored post!).
Since Sloane’s birth, she has basically become a Carter’s poster child. They were one of the few retailers who stocked premie sizes in store. We didn’t anticipate Sloane coming a month early, so this was a life-saver when she arrived.
Flash forward to 14 months old, Sloane has finally grown out of her 9-12 month clothing. She is now wearing clothes in 12-18 months and needed some new outfits for Spring! Here’s a list of some of the cutest spring outfits from Carter’s that we either purchased, already own or are planning on ordering soon.

It’s officially June, hello sweet summertime and hello travel season! We just returned from an amazing weekend away at the white mountains and we’re already packing our bags (and car) again for our next road trip. Our annual summer vacation at the Jersey Shore.
Mike and I have been taking trips down to the shore since we started dating in 2012 (I once wrote a post about the “real jersey shore” here). It’s become a regular family tradition of ours and we’re excited to bring Sloane and introduce her to the beach, the sand, and of course, the Crab’s Claw.
On vacation, I’m all about wearing that cute, comfortable clothing. On occasion, when we go out to dinner I do like to dress up and look nice. I typically will pack a few maxi dresses to wear out to eat, like the below floral maxi dress from PinkBlush.
I received this pretty maxi dress from PinkBlush a few months ago and unfortunately hadn’t had a chance to share it with you yet. I am in love with the colors and floral patterns on this dress. This maternity maxi dress is perfect for the nursing mama and is extremely flattering with a tie at the waist.
Even though I am no longer nursing, I love wearing this maternity dress! It can be dressed up with jewelry and a low heel or dressed down completely with flip flops and a sun hat. I have purchased several maternity dresses from PinkBlush and have been impressed with the quality and comfort of their clothing.
Have you purchased from them? If yes, are there any maxi dresses you would recommend?

What’s one of the best pieces of advice you can give to expectant parents? Plan a quick getaway, or baby moon, before baby arrives. So at 34 weeks pregnant, we did just that! We spent a night at the Bedford Village Inn, a historic barn and inn in New Hampshire, for a short and sweet baby moon.
While we were there, I wanted to do something extra special to surprise my husband as an early Valentine’s Day/ Dad-to-be present. Mike had been so supportive and incredible throughout our entire pregnancy so I really wanted to give him a gift to serve as a symbol of my appreciation. Since he isn’t a very materialistic kind of guy, shopping for him can be tough. He’s not big into accessories however he does wear a watch everyday and appreciates a well-made one.
I decided to give him a JORD wooden watch. The color and detail on the face of the Hyde Series wooden watch in Walnut & Black really caught my eye and I knew it would catch his too. I also opted for a watch engraving and had the backside of the watch engraved with his new title “DAD” (this brought a huge smile to his face!).
When we arrived at the inn, I surprised Mike with the unique wooden watch from JORD watches. This personalized watch was truly the perfect dad-to-be gift for him and could not have come at a better time since we ended up delivering our daughter 4 weeks early. I’m so happy I was able to give him a gift that will serve as a reminder of this special time in our lives.
Want to treat someone special in your life to a unique wooden watch too? I’ve partnered with JORD watches on a special giveaway. One lucky winner will receive a $100 gift code and ALL entrants will receive an instant 10% off coupon code. To enter the giveaway, fill out the official entry form here. Giveaway ends March 16th, good luck!

This past weekend, our family and friends threw us the most amazing baby shower! It’s crazy to believe that we’ve officially reached our third trimester of pregnancy. Today I am sharing a few photos from the big day including the details of the beautiful maternity dress I wore.
Recently I partnered with PinkBlush by joining their Style Ambassadors program! Pink Blush is an online women’s clothing retailer that carries a mix of casual and formal pregnancy clothes. Their clothes are designed to be both comfortable and stylish for mom-to-be to look and feel her best. Throughout the course of my pregnancy, I have purchased a couple dresses from their website and have been very pleased with each piece so far.
I was most excited to receive this lovely pink crushed velvet maternity dress. It arrived just in time for the big event and was simply the perfect baby shower dress! The material was extremely comfortable, soft and stretchy. The ruched sides of the maternity dress was also very flattering on my 33 week baby bump. Slightly nervous to wear a fitted dress to my shower, I wasn’t sure if I would be uncomfortable or if it would just look downright unflattering.
I was so wrong! I received several compliments on the color and style of the dress from my guests. This made me feel even more confident in my maternity clothing choice. To complete this look, I wore a pair of pink jeweled earrings that matched the color of my maternity dress and light brown booties.
Living in Massachusetts, I wasn’t sure what the weather was going to be like on the day of the shower. Thankfully, we lucked out with a gorgeous day (a high of almost 50 degrees!) and a little bit of sun.
Shop this dress from PinkBlush here.
Below are a few more favorite photos from the day. The theme of our shower was woodland animals. Mike and I feel very blessed to have such a great group of supportive people in our lives. They have shown our baby girl so much love along the way and we are all so very excited to meet her soon!
