From the wall paper of the bridal suite to the delicate lace sewn on my wedding gown, every detail no matter how small or large of our wedding did not go without notice. Today I am sharing some of the beautifully captured photographs of our wedding day by our talented wedding photographer Marina Zinovyeva.
The Venue
Mike and I got married in August at Labelle Winery, a small vineyard located in Amherst, New Hampshire. The venue was the perfect size and holds up to approx. 200 guests. Our wedding had about 140 guests who attended, leaving everyone with plenty of space to enjoy themselves and get down on the dance floor!
The Flowers
All of the flowers at our wedding, including the flowers on our cake, were from Apotheca Flower Shoppe in Goffstown, New Hampshire. The florists at Apotheca are highly creative and original with their floral designs. I strongly recommend them if you are searching for a florist in New England. At our initial appointment, I approached them with these wooden wine boxes and a few ideas of how I wanted to fill them. I also wanted to use vintage glass vases to further inspire an english tea garden-like vibe.
In order to help save on flower costs, Apotheca suggested using the wine box top as a shelving unit for the table tents so we could not only avoid having to fill the entire box with flowers but also create something unique that would wow our guests. Additionally, they suggested using the vases with roses to help enhance the table holding the guest’s place cards.
The Favors & Signage
To stay with the wine theme of our wedding, I had custom plastic wine glasses made from my company engraved with our initials. These were a big hit and many guests opted to use these while dancing versus the glassware at our wedding! To further customize the favors and keep them simple (and cost effective), we filled them with silver hershey kisses as well as custom designed thank you notes.
All of the signage from our wedding day was designed by one of my best friend’s Ashley Kohl. She is an extremely talented graphic designer and artist and has a deep understanding of branding. I shared my vision with her for our wedding and she helped me bring it to life beautifully.
The Ceremony
Labelle Winery’s ceremony space is located outside with the vineyard featured in the background. We used the arbor and wooden wine barrels provided by the venue to center the space and had our florist decorate them with matching flowers. Dressing up the arbor helped enhance the ceremony space immensely and added a nice touch of elegance.
