I wasn’t exaggerating when I told you we did a lot of stuff while I was in the Hampton’s on Long Island a few weeks ago. Of the many things we did (hit the beach, drink some wine, ride a ferry), sight-seeing at the Montauk Point Lighthouse was one of the coolest, prettiest and windiest places we visited.
If I had known how windy it was going to be that day at the lighthouse, I would have chosen a more casual ensemble to wear and would have been able to climb up to the top of the lighthouse – without fear of flashing all of the tourists below!
Are you familiar with Montauk Point Lighthouse and have you ever been to the top?

Thanks, Helene! If you ever find yourself there, make sure to go up to the top of the lighthouse and let me know how it was! 😉

It was really pretty, I was happy my parents took me there.
Also, this comment made me really happy today when I read it. Its so nice to hear that you enjoy reading about my travels, it brings me comfort and a sense of reassurance to know that someone is enjoying them and that these stories aren’t just falling to the wayside.
Lately I’ve felt a little lost in blogging, so as simple as your comment was – I really needed it. Thank you!
