Through the Lens: December
Join us each month for the Through the Lens link-up by sharing your favorite photos from the previous month. It’s a great way to meet new bloggers and relive your favorite moments from the last month in photographs. Here are my favorites from December:
1 // Dressed up fancy for Mike’s company holiday party in Boston and wore this beautiful black lace dress from Nordstrom.
2 // Tried the best smelling (and feeling) facial exfoliant scrub from Lush and wrote about it here.
3 // Made homemade chicken noodle soup to help overcome the treacherous common cold. The recipe I followed was SO good that I may need to blog about it soon!
4 // Celebrated Christmas all night with good friends.
5 // Watched the sunrise from our bedroom in the morning. One of my favorite sights.
6 // Started playing with centerpiece ideas and color combinations for our wedding (p.s. I think I’ve finally nailed it too).
7 // Won a tea party gift box at our family yankee swap that my cousin Courtney put together. How cute is that teacup?
8 // Went for a late walk New Year’s Eve with my fiance and watched the sunset.
9 // Practiced taking silhouette photos with my new 50mm lens (not sure how I lived without this lens. It is incredible for portrait photography!).
Now it’s your turn to share! The rules are simple:
1 // Link up your Through The Lens or Monthly recap post.
2 // Grab the Through the Lens button and add to your post (or link back here).
3 // Follow your hosts – All That’s Glittered and Treats & Travels.
4 // Stop by a few other blogs, check out their photos and say hi!
5 // If you share on social media, please use hash tag #ThroughTheLens so we can re-share!
6 // Lastly, the most important rule, have fun!

Okay, I need that face scrub now. Also, those flowers are gorgeous and you looks beautiful in those NYE sunset pictures!
It’s the most amazing scrub EVER and thank you so much!
Love that silhouette photo!
Thank you, Mar!
Homemade soup is truly wonderful isn’t it?
Absolutely! I was so happy/impressed with myself when I made it – I’d never made it with that recipe before, and it actually tasted GOOD! Score!
I love that photo of you at sunset! And the flowers. (If you’re going with orange, my wedding colors were orange and navy and I LOVED the way it turned out.) This is my first time linking up with Through the Lens; I’m excited to participate monthly! 🙂
Fantastic photos, love these!
